Composite decking is a great product but it’s not for everyone. It can be three times or more expensive than standard treated decking. A few composite materials don’t really look like wood. The advantages are that it maintains it’s original appearance far longer than wood, requires virtually no maintenance is extremely durable. Another benefit is that 90% of shopping bags recycled in this country gets used in composite lumber.
